| It's something not to be missed.......unless you have to work Saturdays!! No seriously, Ray Vallero (aka Engine Building God) demonstrates how he builds and machines engines and engine parts in his labratory (aka machine shop). It's really quite amazing. You should make it if you can. | |

Last time I was there, I sneezed in my hand and then I touched your engine. | |

| Arrgghh. I can say it is well worth going to this. I made the first one and learned a LOT! My brother and I are hosting my dad's 80th birthday party on that day, so I won't be able to make it. | |

| Just curious, what is the consensus on Sunday, the 30th, at 12:30pm instead? We want as many people to make it as possible. Ray has some cool stuff in mind, I'll add that later....

| Don't change it for me. I'm just giving y'all a hard time. I leave Monday for a week-long business meeting so I probably wouldn't be able to make Sunday either as I'll probably need to hang out with the fam. | |

| Thanks Greg. If we don't get at least 5 or 6 confirmed, we'll shoot for a later date and make it a Sunday. It will be mid November because the Nat'l Finals with Tony are the following weekend in Phoenix.

| I should be able to make either day. I am going to my inlaws house in Auburn on Sunday with the family for pumpkin carving but I could sneak over to the shop.
See you then, Mike | |

| Sunday afternoon at 12:30 would be tight, but I could make it. Saturday is good too. | |

| Well, since Greg can't make it on Sunday, and everyone else is good for Saturday, it looks like we'll have our minimum 6 if nobody cancels. We'll see you all on 29th, Saturday, at 10am. On Ray's list is: Looking into the exhaust ports of a running engine to see the effects of timing changes. Also the effects of RPM changes with valve covers windowed so you can see the valve springs. And something about heater boxes and clutches, but I am not sure what he is showing with them. He's probably open for suggestions of just about anything... | |
