| Anyone interested in a cruise up to Rainbow Lodge for hot toddy's in front of the old stone fireplace? We can take the frontage road around Big Bend along the river (which is the old Lincoln Blue Star Highway) for a section of it. Unless there's snow... Feb 25 maybe? | |

| May is on fire lately with her new front end. I think Jenn and I could do this, but her oldest son is in town this weekend so there might be a conflict. But if we're clear, I am in!!!

| Let's do it! (or as my friend's autocorrect always says "Let's donut!")
Leave Auburn at Ray's shop at 10:30am? Is that too late? It's only 50 miles each way, don't want to be at a bar before noon, personally.... ;-) And should still be home before dark (and before it gets too cold, for those without heaters).
Plan for stops along the river for photos...

| We may go...after yesterdays 500 mi run we noticed clutch chatter as I was accelerating and going from a dead stop. On today's agenda....pull the engine! I'm hoping it's a simple fix.
1015 am. After a few adjustments to the clutch et all we have concluded that the tranny may be going out. :-(

| Doesn't sound like many are going. I am having issues with my tranny and how's its shifting. Not downshifting too well anymore. I just don't feel comfortable going too far...sorry | |

| No problem Kyle. We will just resched when there's more participation. Seems trannys are fussy for several right now. | |

| Those that didn't make it, missed a wonderful drive and some time by a crackling fire... Hope all your cars get roadworthy and we can do it again soon! | |

| That's a fun road. I don't know if May would want to stop now. | |

Time to find a correct one- need a clear needle speedo for my 59...

| I think I may want to divert around the Yuba Gap area next time to avoid the Bermuda....errr.... Sierra Triangle that apparently zapped both of our speedos at the exact SAME moment. I still am shaking my head about that. | |

| You have to blow through at near the speed of sound to avoid the EMF disruptions... | |

| That will work too! While you are at it might as well make a few Leyden jars out of some two litre bottles just in case you want to discharge your own EMF... If you want to geek out on some physics I am ready! | |
