sexy bitch ('66 ghia)

well i was in the VW world in the '80s and now im back (man did i miss alot). i picked up my first ghia a 1966 vw karmann ghia i am really jazzed about it as it sat for about a year before i got to it and now in progress. i also name all that i build and the '66 will be known as SEXY BITCH

Love the seats. Those look top notch.

I'm going to make a suggestion. Deluxe window trim with the aluminum piping in it. Nothing says quality like this fine detail, and all USA spec cars came with it after the split era. It's not expensive, and a bit tough to install into the rubber, but SO well worth the final result. You have to install it before putting the windows back in.
It's one of the most overlooked details in restorations and will look ultra fantastic with a silver car.

well it was the ranch run then KP. i just dont want to bring her untill she is ready to meet the world.........i cant say this very loud as she might be listening but " i think shes a little shy" the reason i say this is everyday this week i have worked on her and everyday something goes backwards or brakes (driverside b pillar broke NEED ONE IF SOMEONE HAS ONE. then she wont start (went and had kinkos do a poster size of the wiring diagram now i can read it easily) and last but not least the seats are not finished yet.

BUT when she is out and about SHE will stand out and demand attention keep you eyes open

My Porsche gets so pissed when we get a new car in the driveway. Once it drooped a valve seat. Go out and talk nice to her is may help her along. And tell he it wont hurt when you put the window rubber on her.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this one in person!
