'69 Ghia Wiring Empty
PostSubject: '69 Ghia Wiring   '69 Ghia Wiring EmptySun Oct 03, 2010 1:26 am

So now that the motor rebuild is pretty much done, I figured I would start working on the wiring while I wait for the bank account to re-fill a little bit.

Here is what I have to start with:

The old headlight dimmer relay:

The new generic Bosch SPDT relay:

I think I acheived a slight improvement. At least now I can use my high-beams. I have some H4 blue halogen headlights to install but I noticed a bit of rust in the buckets I am going to clean out first.

Tomorrow after I wire brush and prime the buckets I am going to work on the flasher circuits using a slight variation of the 9-prong box mod for a bus.

If anyone is interested in the connections I can write something up but it is fairly straight forward.

I am also contemplating changing out the amber running lights with clear lenses up front but I haven't quite made up my mind yet.
