| Hey there! Just found out about this place through Dann and Kyle. I live in West Sac and I'm also building a Herbie replica. I'm currently on the hunt for either an oval window or an early big window bug (on the cheap). My Herbie project is a pan-off, major undertaking so I'm looking for something to slap together so I can enjoy some local running around and get-togethers. | CL ads are good. Non-VW people don't know about The samba and often don't know what their car is really worth.
There was one here that a gal only wanted $500 for, but it was a '70 or something with only a bad fuel pump, supposedly. I'd have bought it if I hadn't just bough another car.
I SHOULD have bought it and flipped it. | |
