After our little field trip today I think I have been drawn to the dark side.
I am seriously considering putting air bags in the back end of the Ghia.
They are not much more money than doing adjustable spring plates and new torsion arms.
Still researching the ride and handling characteristics, but as far as fine adjustments in height, they seem to be the way to go.
Plus, I think the midlife crisis younger version of me likes the idea of having her set at a driving height for performance and then having the ability to slam her to the ground in the parking lot.
There is a fair amount of fabrication involved with the trailing arms.
If I only knew someone who has a Ghia with IRS that we could fabricate the air bags on first and then transfer them to May... Hmmm...
