59 Ragtop in Yuba

Hi my name is Nick i stumbled on you site here si thought i would say hello. I own a 1959 Ragtop bug and i'll post some pictures here. Im in Yuba city so i hope i can make it out on some of your drives etc.

Sweet bug.. very nice. Looks like I have to pick another color.. was thinking of going yellow.. good thing I have three colors I was choosing from!

Hope to see you at some of the events as well, just keep checking in. There is quite a bit going on in the next month.

Thanks, actually i am not that much of a fan of the yellow so maybe you want to paint mine a different color than you can paint yours yellow. There sure are a lot of events I need to put my motor back in so i can come along.

LOL totally, i got the car yellow and was like....wow thats really yellow! But it was real cheap and didn't take much to get it back to its driving state so i said why not. I think the metallic blue will look great, good luck

its only got a 1641 in it now, it had a seized mazda street ported 12a rotary in it when i got it. about 180hp in its time. it was gonna cost to much to rebuild that motor so i just went back to the VW way. I would like to build a 1915turbo for it. got boxes of parts just not everything to build the motor i want. one of these days, its just a matter of time and money, lol
