We were eating lunch yesterday when the subject of MULLET'S came up, Who had one, and be proud. Our conclusion 3 for sure may a 4th but they were popular and you guys are the right age. I never had one due to deforestation.

I was too young to understand... I didn't know the strengths and weaknesses that my hair beheld... But I have to admit, my mom made me rock a mullet.

I rocked a mullet in High School! I'll have to see if I can come up with a pic.

Was it a 90's thing or end of the 80's. Dann we thought for sure you had one.

It was a late 80's/early 90's thing. By '94/'95 I changed it up and went with the Kurt Cobain look. Long all over and split down the center. I even shaved up underneath so I could have a high pony tail and have it all shaved on the sides. Kinda like Tommy Lee did about that same time. God I thought I was badass!

HOW BOUT A REVERSE MULLET?

SHAVED OR REAL SHORT ON THE SIDES AND BACK AND THE TOP LONG. THE LONGEST I HAD IT WAS ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN MY SHOULDER BLADES PULLED BACK IN A PONY TAIL.

I can't fucking believe I'm doing this.....

I just went out to the garage. Almost killed myself climbing up the shelves. Pulled down my ol' shoebox full of pics....

Here is my Sophomore Homecoming pic. I had to take a picture of a picture. This is the best mullet shot I could come up with. This would've been in 1993.

Well yea I rocked the mullet for about a year starting in '84.

I have lots of hair and it is wavy, I hated it but the girls all wanted it. I used to spend hours straightening it.

Seems funny now.

Then in '85 I became a beach bum and the sun and water bleached my hair out, so I went with the long bleached out surfer look. I went with that until about '89 and by then I was in college.

I moved to the bleached tips to blend in at the clubs.

What a mess....

It is much easier now that I am over 40 and don't really give a crap.

Just kind of try to keep it cleaned up...
