I am gonna try to, my tires (i found out today) have lost enough tread that they dont like wet roads.....If the weather holds out I will head up

We're a little nervous about the weather too. We'll know more in the morning but if it's anything like it was today....it will most likely be rescheduled.

Ok. So Jimmy and I have talked about it this morning and they're showing a 60% chance of rain and the swirl of clouds showing on Doppler shows that it's supposed to be quite a storm today. I'm no weather man but I think it's safe to say that "IT'S GOING TO RAIN!!" and rain hard.

Next Sunday shows sunny and 80 degrees. We've made the decision to move tech day to next Sunday June 12th. Same time, same place. I'll get together with Brad and we'll send out emails cancelling this one and announcing next weekend's event.

By the way.....what's up with this weather? It's June for God's sake.

That better, since I got called into work today. (Damn, kids calling in cause they partied too much)

And then.....no rain!! WTF????

sounds good. today kinda did suck it was hot but sprinkled...looking forward to next sunday. Next saturday is the monthly Sac NAG meeting if anyone is interested. Kmart parking lot on Sunrise in Rancho at 6pm

I might have to make that. I've never been but have always wanted to check it out.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is our tech day at Jimmy's house. Who's all planning on being there?

So tech day was awesome!! As it turns out, it was just John, Jimmy and I but we rocked it just the same. We threw back some brewskies and got Jimmy's car back together. He has a throttle cable that he's gotta replace but she's up and running!! Fired right up and purred like a.......Volkswagen!!!

So until we get a permanent location for tech day, we'll continue to hop around and help out our members. So now, the question is......Who's next??

Any of you Sactown guys that need a hand getting your car back together, just let us know. We'll be at your garage soon!!

Right on.... glad you got Jimmy up and running. Like Dann said, you have to start somewhere.

I am glad that i was there to help and learn.
I helped drink the beer and learned that the ice chest Does run out of it if you drink alot.

OUR VERY FIRST TECH DAY WAS BRAD IN HIS OWN DRIVEWAY

NOW WE'VE BEEN HAVEING A STEADY 6-10 CARS SHOWING UP AS WELL AS PASSENGERS, AND FOLKS COMING BUT BRINGING NON VWS, ETC.
