yeah, BK did a great job with my rusty-chrome peeling and pitted rims. I had to buy two new rear tires though because the other ones would not balance. Oh well, it drives much better now, no violent vibrations anymore.

Dan, Soon I hope. Some professional (free) advice may be needed so I need to bring it by. I did find out that it doesn't feel safe on the Freeway though. Shocked

Finally got around to rebuilding the carb today, wow what a difference! The accelerator pump was not working at all because the line was plugged. Cleaned the rest, new gaskets and she fired right up. Runs much better now, no popping, ruff idle, stalling upon stops anymore. Still need to do a little fine tuning to get the mid-range to pick up better, but anyhow a vast improvement. cheers

Thanks Eric, I already found that link today and used it. It was not reacting as much to the adjustments as I had hoped, but I think a little more fine-tuning and it will be right on. One other thing, I did find out that with it running good is it will actually spin those 295 meats on the asphalt and leave marks. Pretty cool if you ask me.

You were spinning but not leaving marks.
