| Not many Type 3's in the group. Only four (including yours) that I can think of. I'm sure you've tried the Samba already also. | |

| Hi Jeff, I'm Cat. I just acquired a 69 Squareback in August - my first. I didn't find much at Bug-O-Rama this year, but of the things I've needed so far, 99% came from ISP West in southern Cal. I ordered a trunk liner (reproduction - nice), a glove box and rear view mirror (recyled parts) ana a new dash pad which is also a quality reproduction. "Otto" is sitting patiently at Ray Vallero's shop. The car won't stay running and needs the electrical sorted out.
If I am out and about and come across anything local I'll let you know. | |

| I'm really having a tough time finding type 3 parts for my 66 as well. ISP has been over the top helpful - parts and questions. Also Facebook has a Type 3 page - great resource for global Type 3 help. Local parts are almost impossible anymore.

| Not to disparage this group, but for very thorough and detailed specific T3 advice and information, join us on http://www.vwtype3.org/. Particularly if you have a stock fuel injection. The folks on this list really, really know their FI stuff. There are a few darksiders on there as well, so it's not just stock stuff. | |

| I'm digging the daily "vwtype3.org" emails - these guys are serious tech wizards - especially with the later fuel injected Type 3's - very cool. | |
