Anyone up for a vdub cruise this weekend?

I will have Hugo back (old motor, but still a kick in the pants). Ray is out of town and I'm not going with him and Tony to PHX finals. So, I won't be working on the new engine. Velvet's down for the count. I haven't enjoyed this fall weather (or the summer) with a nice cruise with the top open all year!

Short or long, local or mountains/coast, I really don't care. Lots of time on my hands, AMAZING thought.

I'm down. I won't be in a vw, but I don't think that matters much...

Well, the weather isn't cooperating. I was hoping for that balmy fall weather we had yesterday and now I hear it may rain. Chris (and anyone else), let's play by ear. I am hopeful!

I could be down for a drive on Sunday. Maybe through the canyon toward Lotus and Coloma?

Already started taking the bug apart and I'm running an ad on Craigslist this weekend. Dont think I can make it.

couldnt stand the stock width adjustable beam, so I tried making my old narrowed beam work. It didn't so I got in touch with Jason at The Resurrection Project and he put me in touch with the guy that makes his narrowed beams. I'm looking at a new 3 inch narrowed beam, 2" drop spindles and new ball joints. I want my front end dialed in once and for all.

That's a nice setup. That's what I have planned for my car when I'm ready for that step.

so did anyone go on a cruise. i ended up at the california auto museum then froze my ass off getting home. there was a corvette show there and sexy bitch got alot of attention. she is just that sexy

No cruise for me. May is still running her summer outfit of straight velocity stacks with no air cleaners and her deck lid propped up. So the rain parked her in the garage.

I was hoping to get a few more cruises out of her before the winterizing process of putting her air cleaners back on and dropping the lid. But I don't know, winter might be here to stay.

Yeah, rained out. I, however, am going down to Sacto today anyways. Running stacks too, but my lid is down, so should be fine. I will wrap myself up in a blanket. Ahhh, the price we pay for more power.

I am just looking for somewhere that will let me mount a set of 205/65s to see if they will fit in the back.

Whatever shop will let me do that, I will place my 400 plus dolla order...

I knew the fronts would fit, the rears I am not so sure...
