NAG meeting Saturday, Dec. 10

We had a great time with the NAG guys last month (see pics in the other thread), come join us again! They meet in a parking lot in front of Kmart on Sunrise Blvd near Hwy 50, isn't that right Mateo? At 7pm, but we'll probably go a bit early for coffee somewhere since it's so cold and dark this time of year. And this month's meeting on Saturday, Rich Duncan (bus lover and VW race car enthusiast) asks that everyone bring either canned food or an unwrapped packaged toy for charity. Last time we all went to Denny's for dinner afterwards and had a really great conversation for a couple hours if you are up for socializing.

Ray and I are going. Matt? Anybody else want to cruise down together?

i might be wrong but i think it starts at 6:00 pm

....and I thought it was 5.

We all thought it was 5pm last month and the NAG guys rolled in an hour or so later and told us we were way early.

Lonny may be right that it starts "officially" at 6pm, and that's why I figured I'd go early. But Rich Duncan said he'd be there around 7pm. So, let's say 6pm, but if someone sees or knows someone at NAG that says 5pm, post it here.

Greg, you can come as late as 7pm since Rich won't get there till then, and then we are going to dinner.

I would totally come but I've got my company's Christmas party Saturday. It sucks too cuz it looks like you guys had fun at the last one.

It starts at 6pm. I went religiously from December 2008 to March 2010.

Now I have not been there since then. I always want to go, but then I end up being busy.

I will plan on going this time though, because as of right now, I have no plans for this saturday.

By the way, they made a calender a few years ago for 2009-2010. My 74 Super was in it.

I ordered a 4" narrowed adjustable balljoint beam from punch drunk customs. I have heard good things about him and I really like the work he has up on his website. I got a message from Matt that it was finished and he was going to send me the tracking information, but that was a week and a half ago. Its no big deal, not like I am without transportation. I just hate looking at my bug like this. Its been on jackstands for the last six weeks.

Yes, you have.

Matt at Punch Drunk did May's beam.

The quality seemed spot on and at a fair price.

It did take a little bit longer than I expected as well but worth the wait.

I would swap his bushings out, but other than that, it's all good to go.

We went right next door to Denny's last time.
