| I am looking for a rebuildable 1600. Let me know what you have lying around. I am hoping to rebuild one myself for the first time this winter.
Thanks, Drew 716-228-4784

| What are you looking to spend?
Are you looking for parts that are ready to be assembled or are you just wanting parts that have 'potential'?
I could probably hook you up...

| hey did you ever get a 1600? if not i have a 1600 only thing wrong is the crankshaft... the guy i bought the bug from didnt tighten the flywheel down with the right amount of torque so the dowels totally messed up the crankshaft.. other than that it was running pretty darn good.. | |

| ok so a brand new engine runs roughly about 1400 that is with out any extras now i have a carb and manifold that will go with it but no tin and this is used so i would say 800 would be a good price the only thing a person would need is tin crankshaft flywheel and new gaskets
so id have to say 800? sound like a decent deal?
the vin number on it is AE 616 122

| Honestly that's a little steep for me. I'm not saying it's not worth it, it's just that I'm looking for more of a $200-$400 rebuilder. | |
