Hats off to the group and to those that put the event together. Didn't think I'd make it but I got out there around 1pm. There was still a great crowd out and lots of cars. Was even able to get me a shirt! The event from a vistor view point looked well put together. After the show I went into the museum. I never knew that place existed before! I'm looking forward to next years event already and hoping to bring my bug so I can enter the show. Great work today!

I checked out the paper when I got to work this morning and we made the paper!

We're on the front page of the "Our Region" section and the four color pictures and small write-up take up about 3/4 of the page. Even though there is no mention of Norcal Vdubs, it's still pretty cool.

I guess Univision was out there filming the event for their news also but I completely spaced it and didn't watch it last night. Besides, my spanish is a little rusty.

I didn't get a picture of it, but how cool was it that Chris Brown brought out his Pro Gas racer.

Just the smell of C14 race fuel is enough to get you going in the morning.

It's a lot of work getting a car around on a trailer. A big thumbs up to Chris for putting in the effort.

Maybe he inspired some new racers in the crowd...

Looks like the event brought a lot of attention. Most everything I see has been about the Auto Museum putting on a vw show. Thought I'd let you guys know that KOVR Channel 13 news (in my area at least) ran a little piece on the event. They mentioned the museum and the club by name. Ya'll got some praise by name!

i saw all news report. mike let me kow about the spanish channel bring there and i meet up with the reporter. i wish i had know someone in the group that spoke spanish, but they found a family that had their car there. the cbs13 new was better then goodday. i was getting alot of folks telling me "they could see the show as they drove over us and just had to get to it" man that would have been a cool pic.

That was a great show! Had a good time and got the aircooled fever now. I've been looking for a bus but now I'm ready to look for a bug too!

I flaked and didn't get a shirt. If there's a medium still available, I'd be interested.
