| I am looking for a 1980's VW diesel, Rabbit, Jetta, Golf, or Caddy truck. I would like to find one in decent running condition, and would prefer the Caddy pickup. Thanks

| A diesel VW would make a nice daily driver. I just picked up a Mitsubishi Eclipse for that same reason..... |

| The Eclipse comes in an AWD.
AND it is possible to drift FWD cars, just not as common as it takes some serious suspension mods to chain... | |

| Bought it! I found a 1981 Rabbit truck with the 1.6 turbo diesel and a 5-speed. It's in decent shape, needs paint (in primer) and a few minor fixes. I drove it home from Lodi to Colfax today, it actually pulled the hills at 65 mph without pushing it. I will post some pictures later. | |

| We meet at the Rite-Aid parking lot in Brunswick Plaza at 6pm. Usually get to Baskin Robbins near GV Kmart around 6:30.

| Well, it is going to be a short lived affair with the Caddy Truck. I finished fixing most of what it needed and am tired of the project. Today I aligned the hood, fenders and doors and started some minor body work. Tomorrow I will finish the body work, and prime it the right way ( not rattle can), and Saturday I plan on painting it. I have some metallic GOLD which will hopefully mean $$ when I sell the thing. | |
