| Great time! wish more of you could have made it. The weather was fabulous and the venue was gorgeous! So Jeff and I met up at Kmart at 5:35 and left at 5:45.. caught up with Matt at Home Depot.. by the whiskers of his chin..LOL. Then Cliff calls around 6:35 (we are at Greenback now) and says he over slept.. But to his credit.. he got there in time for the cruise! Over 300 registered and what a massive cruise. CHP (and I mean about 7 to 10 CHP) escorted.. blocking off streets so we could go right thru the red lights.. really cool! Then off to the Ranch. Was good time. We did meet up with some of our SacTown Vdub...(hehehehe) members.. not a cloud in the sky.. 300 plus cars to look at and free lunch to boot! Shout out to Landon who got his bus running! (Skimming that one close buddy!).. nice to finally meet Ned.. Hi Ned!.. and Paul T.. I saw you drive in, but did not get to officially say hi.. so HI! Here are a few pics of us at Neillo getting ready to cruise.. Jill has the rest of the cool photo's. | |

| It was a great time! Too much fun. We did barely make it to Home Depot on time. I had set the alarm on my phone for 4:30am, but it has a setting for weekdays or all 7 days of the week. Guess what, I had it set for weekdays only. So at about 5:45am my eyes popped open and I thought all was lost. Jenn said we could make it and we threw things together and made it to Home Depot about 2 minutes before Brad and Jeff. We ended up leaving early. Our brother-in-law went to the emergency room last night with chest pains via an ambulance. It was pretty hectic for a while. Long story short, turned out to be an alergic reaction, and everyhting was ok but we did not get back to the house until about 2:00am. So with just under 4 hours sleep and all the excitement, Jenn and I were exhausted. But it was still an awesome event and we are looking forward to next year and the rest of the events for this year. Thanks to Brad, Jeff, Cliff and Jill to making it a good time for us new to the VW scene. We too saw a few other cars from the forum here, but didn't get to meet the owners yet. I am sure our paths will cross at some point in the coming months. Good times. | |

| Awesome show! Saw some great cars. I have a bunch of pictures but I wont be able to post them until I get back home from Portland. I talked to Jill and Jeff. I saw Brad and Cliff but they looked pretty engaged in a conversation with a coupla other dudes and we needed to hit the road anyway so a belated "hey guys!". Weather was absolutely gorgeous. We had a hard time leaving. So I'll get the pics posted up in about a week. | |

| YEA! Thanks for the great pictures. That's a nice show. I should definitely try to come up for that next year when I'm hopefully not in recovery from a stupid lingering cold. Hopefully also I can come up soon and get some use out of my State Route tee shirt I still have yet to break in. I had a really good time last time I was up for that show and swap.
I spent Saturday helping a complete stranger with his wipers. He stopped by in his '68 while I was changing some seals on Hometown Herbie. Amazingly, I had a correct wiper arm sans spring in my box-o-junk, but we used the spring from his gnarled up one.

| Me love you long time, Greg. Suckee, suckee, twenty dollah!
The tail lights are a gift. What I forgot to do is check to see if the bulbs in them were 6 volt or 12. If they're 6 volt, I'd be interested in having them as spares if you're going 12 Volt.

That's hot, Dann, but nobody really wants to know what turns you on. You're gross.
Now Greg and I - THAT would be some sale-able porn.

| You guys had a TV show back in the 50' and 60's the Three Stooges. But I believe this would be called beyond the 53 door. Marilyn Chambers would be the commentary. | |

| N'uk, n'uk, n'uk!
I guess you'd think the Disney character fans would be the tame ones, but not so. I'm not sure I caught your name. Could you pop it into your signature? I'm trying to get to know everyone from 130 miles away!
