| Here is the new baby girl in my life...LOL Very happy with it. Got it for 2400! dual port heads with dual Weber 34ICT carbs.. I changed the oil and adjusted the timing and carbs and got it running really sweet! Doing that I pop'd off the distributor cap and there sat pertronix pointless system! SWEET.. bonus. Very quite drive and awesome handling even at stock height..."doctor, we need dropped spindles .... STAT"... give me a few weeks, she will be dumped. Paint is in fair to good shape.. pan is perfect.. interior is all there, needs some updating. So, I am back! Feels good to. | |

| If that bug has disc breaks including everything else you said. I would say you stole it. That my friend is a crime and i am going to have to report you to the authorities. | |

| This one was the local car. The guy in Red Bluff pulled some crap on me last night trying to get me to pay more, so told him forget it.
No disc brakes on this one.. But as you can see it looks good from the go..
It has one piece windows (something I always like).. the pertronix pointless system, dual weber 34ICT's, shaved door handles (Which scares me..LOL), decent interior (for a change), shaved gas door, Monza exhaust, 1600dp, pop out rear windows, new tires, retrofitted older bumpers and taillights...
So I feel for the money, it was well worth it... it is a jump in and drive car! YEAH!.
So next pay period I will get some drop spindles and lower her down some. Then over the summer will do the narrowed beam and aftermarket rims and such... but can start cruising NOW.
In fact, going to drive her to work this week... very excited.
thanks for everyone keeping there eyes out for me! It helped... Dave Cope, thanks for bringing up this car Friday! I would have never seen it over in that area.
I am STOKED!!!!! Pete and Shawna came up and saw it today.. he liked it also.

| Now you are an honest man. At 90 I thought it looked pretty good. One hell of a bend in the road for that speed.
Now who is next. If David buys speedies super almost everyone is a happy camper.

| Hey....that yellow isn't as nearly as bad as you guys made it sound at Big A. I actually kinda like it...its different.
That is one sweet looking bug.
Next time you're by the fairgrounds, swing by my shop and I'll sticker her up.
Happy for you.

| The swap meet is coming up you may find the spindles or a front end with disks and drop spindles.

| there is a solenoid where the handle use to go inside the door. There is a "secret" button you push to open the door. It's kind of cool...old school hot rod stuff, but I always worry if my battery dies, I am screwed!
@Matt... yeah.. might happen. Just remember that CIP1 has them for 89.00 bucks right now brand new! so don't pay much more for used.

| Oh yeah, did I forget to mention: It has working heaters! Damn, had to open the window a bit on the way into work this morning. So nice!.. Like sitting in front of a fire with a cafe' lopez and a snuggie wrapped around me...LOL So far so good.. engine still seems tight.. I can tell I still need to adjust the carbs just a hair.. but I will do that when the weather is good again. | |

| That car has been for sale for 6 months to a year. Time flies so it is hard to tell. It is a good indication on the local economy. I am glad it is working out for you. Is it a 67? | |

| It is a 68! last year for swing axle.
They put the older bumpers on it and the older tail lights.
