| I HAVE A CUSTOMER THAT HAS A 72 BEETLE THAT SAID HE WOULD TRY TO MAKE IT OUT NEXT WEEKEND FOR TECH DAY. HE IS LOOKING FOR A SINGLE VACUUM ADVANCE DISTRIBUTER. HE PURCHASED A CARB FROM ME ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND SAYS ITS WORKING GREAT BUT WITH SOME OF THE RESEARCH HES BEEN DOING HES FOUND THAT IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER IF HE GETS RID OF THE DUAL VAC DIST. AND GETS A SINGLE. I TOLD HIM ID THROW IT UP HERE ON THE FORUM TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ONE THEYD LIKE TO GET RID OF. IF YOU HAVE ONE POST IT HERE AND BRING IT WITH YOU ON THE 16TH FOR TECH DAY. THAT WAY IF HE STOPS BY AGAIN BEFORE NEXT SATURDAY I CAN TELL HIM "YOULL HAVE___TO CHOOSE FROM IF YOU STOP BY SATURDAY THE 16TH" THAT WOULD BE GREAT. | |

| Someone call, I wish I knew I was just in that box. Ok I think I have at least one. Please pretty please remind me closer in. We have company arriving tech day night and my wife is making me do cartwheels. I am planning on going to tech day. Does Andy still need the carburetor it is still on the desk in the living room not a good place right now.  | |

| I DONT KNOW. ITS A STOCK DIST WITH ONLY A SINGLE VAC PORT ON THE IT FOR THE ADVANCE. IF I HAD A PIC OR PART NUMBER IM SURE I COULD PROVIDE HIM ONE  HE HAS A TWO VAC PORTS ON THE ONE IN THE CAR NOW. HE WENT FROM THE 34-4 CARB TO THE ????32-2 I THINK IT WAS. HES LOOKING FOR BETTER MPG ON HIS 72 BEETLE DP 1600. | |

| I was testing them yesterday when I was pulling them out of the crate. The singles move a whole lot. I ran my 356 distributor and all it did was ping way to much advance. I think he should try it to make sure it is what he wants and if I get a chance I will check on the Samba but we have company coming Saturday night so I dont have much time. I saw an article years ago about what he is talking about.
I will get a sample before I put them away.
