Were bullet fenders used until 58'?. I cant find any info on this subject online, also were they only on US cars?.

They stopped using bullet fenders after '57. It was an oval-window thing. In '58, they moved the turnsignals to the top of the fenders like almost every Bug you see. Before ovals, they pretty much used semafores on everything. And yes, it is pretty much a US thing. Semaphores were used on European models through (I wanna say) '60.
