| Yea the '70 would be a fun one to play around with like the '73 I have. I think the '70 through '73 models are fair game for body modifications because there is nothing aesthetically pleasing about the changes to the tail lights and front marker lights. I don't care if it was for improved safety, IMO they are not appealing and are perfect for exploration. A '74 would be saved since it is the last production year, So I would not mind having a stock one of those. The '66 is the only year with the 40HP1300 motor. Vintage Speed BABY! So doing a close to stock rebuild on that one could be cool. Also the first year with ball joint front end. If the bodies are straight, little or no rust in the heater channels, and no fiberglass in the nose, I think I might pick them up. Although it would seriously cut into my motor and Bug-O-Rama budgets...  | |

How can someone have 'too many' Ghias!!! It is not possible. If I could, I would throw a bunch of Ghias on a bed and roll around on them like that guy in the movie about Studio 54, you know the part where he throws the money on the bed and rolls around in it. OK, I might need help... What would really float my boat is a low light, say maybe a '57 coupe OR a '58 vert. Why don't you guys find me one of those and donate it to me to help my illness.
