| Hey, Just wondering if any of you guys have a muffler that you could sell me for cheap (or at least cheaper.) If you can that would be awesome! and if you cant and know someone that will that would be great as well! But just so you know i did go to PFI before asking you guys. But i was just wondering if you guys had one to sell before i jumped the gun on PFI. Thanks!! | |

| do not buy any VW parts now with bug o rama next week. For 5-$10 you can get anything. Fat boy, skinny boy, stinger, hide a way.

| What's PFI?
Always state what size engine you have when asking. Not all VW mufflers fit all VW engines, and not all are set up to provide interior heat.
So what you're looking for is a stock muffler, right? He's right The show would be a good place to look. There are even new parts dealers that have stuff like that.

| I you're looking for sound, I can hook you up.
I have a dual monza style exhaust that has quite the sound...
Fit's stock exhaust heater boxes or J-tubes.
I'll see if I can come up with a picture.

| Great idea Matt... that is the same exhaust that is on mine. Easy to install.. don't need a header, just bolt up in place of the stock exhaust. Looks cool and sounds great | |

| I saw what Matt has and it would be miles better than a pea shooter. I wanted Matt's until I found out it should not be used on a 1915

| I showed this around the group at pizza last night. I guess technically it is not a 'Monza' The chrome tips are in good shape and the 'expansion chamber' just needs a good cleaning and if you were to throw some paint on it, it would be sweet. This exaust has an awesome sound, but is a little loud for a daily IMO. But it will make your stock 1600 sound like a 2 liter!!! I can't see myself ever using it, so if anyone is interested, let me know... | |

| Yea, it came with the car attached to heater boxes.
Although I wouldn't call what was left actually 'heater boxes' but the exhaust does have the 'slip on' connections on the lower 1 and 3 pipes.
The heat risers are drilled out, but I think I have some of the cover plates for those too.
