Got a vw, but not a aircooled.

I just got a 1998 vw passat gls. I know it is not a aircooled, but with a girlfriend and kids, I needed something with more then two doors. Plus my acura integra is need some work done to it. I am still wanting to get a aircooled, but it looks like I will have to wait till beginning of next year to buy one.

What year Integra? A sure fire way to get the group going is to show up in a Honda. I like to rotate between one of our three red Civics.

I looked at a green Passat about two weeks ago. They are nice cars.

The DA needs mounts replaced and a new cat to pass smog. What year bug do you have and any pictures?

I can honestly tell you that the offer was not with much seriousness. I am not the owner of the bug I spoke of it is my fathers I only assisted in building it.

I can say that I do like Integra's like yours, and have a very low mileage drivetrain that would go superbly in it. I have 3 to many Honda's according to my family otherwise I would make a serious offer on your Integra.

Then why was it offered? Dan has been seriously looking for an Aircooled Volkswagen for some time now and I'm sure he got his hopes up.

Its cool, I can wait. I am putting the integra up for sale. After today, I am getting tired of the integra. Plus I could use the money to finish the reg on the passat.

Well, been busy with work, family and some other stuff. The integra was sold a couple months ago. Been driving the passat and doing maintaince and some other stuff when money and time permits. Looking forward to haning out with you guys.

I replaced the factory shift know with a aftermarket one (I got from Leo). The factory one was falling apart.

Got bored at home yesterday after work, clean the leaves from cowl area and trunk area. Then took pictures. Which one do you guys like?



The first mod of the car. Replaced the not so good looking long antenna with a new shorter antenna.



Installed my kenwood deck that I have had in several other car into my passat today.



Here ya go. The reason why I am missing a turn signal in the first two pictures iw sunday, it flew off the car when driving to Karls house, the holding spring was not there anymore to hold it in, So it decided to fly away while I was driving.






Finally my new shift boot and know have arrived.
This was the old boot with a temporary shift knob.
