| Speedbuggy asked me to post some pics of my VW bug truck that I mentioned in Seans Welcome thread. I figured I would make a new thread instead of jack Seans thread! We bought it for a parts car for my 66. I know there wasn't much we could use, but it has some stuff. Like the motor! LOL It used to have a flat bed style bed on it, but we didn't want it. It's pretty rough and you can see all the bondo they used on the back! I do think they did a good job on the extra wide fenders though! I didn't even realize they were wider till Bob pointed it out! LOL | |

| That's cool! Looks like it was done the hard way, by grafting a rear section from a bus. Or maybe a '50s era Chevy truck? |

| Yah, I have no idea what it was made from. I never really looked that close at it. I just know they spent a fortune on Bondo! LOL
Let's see a pic of yours!!

| Wow! Yours is nice!!!
Ours is just a parts car, so it won't be around long, I think? LOL You never know what will happen around here, it may get a different motor ( it's motor is in my bug) and a truck bed.

You never know..... mine was a baja parts car when I got it........ That is very true. You never know. We put it on the back of our flat bed tow truck project, so it is up and out of the way. So until the tow truck gets done, and if we ever need it, the bug/truck is safe! LOL Who knows, by then we may decide to make a truck kind of like yours. Although I think I would like to do a regular truck bed instead of a flat bed. That will be a challenge with the motor back there.

| You could always build a stake-bed and haul your horses with that. | |
