| Ok lets get this thing going. Dawn has a wish to have a tail gate party at the track. Lets make it a pot luck kind of thing. You must bring something except Dawn. Do we want real food or just appetizers? Do we want to drag a grill down to the track?
My thought was drinks and snacks and lots of fun.. The sad part is Matt may not be up and running Dawn is down.. I will tow something down...
How much is it to get in and the cost to race?
Is it per car or per driver??
Its a little over a week away................................
Thanks

| Is anybody's car up for this? Sounds like it might be better to do this for her next birthday which I believe is her 22nd (if I'm not mistaking.....)
Unless this is what she is wants to do, maybe we could have an afternoon at the lake or something.

| I talked with Dawn yesterday and she would prefer a day at the strip. She's hoping Hugo is up and going by then so that she can stretch his legs and see what he's got. | |

| I am in for the $10.00.
I don't think May will be ready.
But if everyone wants to chip in, I'll race my yellow Schwinn bicycle with the banana seat and chrome sissy bar.

| Well, now *I* am the one with the lollipop and sad face. Ray and I were up all night as usual working on the motor. We ran into a snag on the heads. I haven't gotten to that section in the Hugo Thread, but basically, Lynda's racing heads were flycut so much for her smaller motor (1776) that there's not enough material to remove to get the compression low enough. So, we have to start with new heads, which is a lot of machining and won't have time to finish the build by tomorrow. So, my bday is postponed. THANK YOU all for the effort!! I really still want to do it. Follow the build thread and let's plan a Test And Tune another time. | |

| We'll get there Dawn! Hang in there. Besides it will be more fun with May there and you can blow her doors off when I let you win for your birthday. Better to do it right than rush it. | |
