| check the auto section in the sac bee on friday. the info should be there. it will be smaller than the one at arco arena or whatever its called now but it is free for spectators  | |

| Today I started getting ready to go to the VW show in Madera this Sunday. I greased the front end, replaced some tie rod ends that we discovered were bad, then figured out why my steering was hard to turn in one direction.  Need to go buy a new steering dampener. Tomorrow I will top of the gas tank and pack the bus so it will be ready to roll Sunday morning! | |

| I cleaned out the gold oval last night. It had boxes of misc VW crap in it. None of which had anything to do with an oval (a lot of late model crap). There was a pair of rebuilt DP heads in there that I had to toss. Something fell on them or they were dropped or something but a bunch of the cooling fins were snapped off. Bummer! | |
