After hassling with DMV all summer and then losing a generator, the motor goes back in tomorrow night. Time to have some fun!

Also finished the suspension in the Ghia. Been a productive week

Gotcha! So this turbo is equivalent to a MKIV 1.8T Jetta's Ko3 turbo as far as flow. I was able to boost 28psi out of that turbo. What kind of HP are you shooting for with this? Should be good for 125-150 depending on the size of that motor.

I want a ride!!!

The motor is a 1641 single port with a progressive Weber and an Engle V110 cam. I've limited the boost to 7 lbs to stay away from pre-ignition.
My wife drive s the buggy on a regular basis. Don't know about the horse power, but it will do 0-60 in 5 seconds. It's exciting to drive!

I like the top of the seats in the Ghia. Shocked

What kind are they and do you have any closer pics?

They are stock '74 Ghia seats. I'll try to get some pics this weekend (they're pretty tattered)

That's cool. I am just looking around at seats for my '69 and I have found that some aftermarket seats look odd in a Ghia. I think mine are the stock low back but I was looking for something a little taller.
