Update:
Drove May to the TRP swap meet last weekend in case you missed the post.
Not bad, but a little bit of a harsh ride. SO this past week I kind of worked on tuning her in.
I was asked about the tire pressure and turns out the new tires were set at 40lbs from the shop. I lowered the pressure. MUCH better.
Still a bit bumpy, so I raised it up a bit more and replaced the KYB gas shocks with COFAB oil stockers and new shock toppers. MUCH better Still.
She rides better now than when I started so I think as far as suspension and ride quality goes I am there.
The new wider tires and tightened up front end makes her very responsive.
Still a little bit of bump steer on occasion. Not all the time which is kind of weird.
But my steering box needs adjustment and there is some end play between the bushings and arms when turning.
I think the play in the bushings may be caused by the shortened torsion leaves being just a tad longer than they should be, or the dimple not being quite in the right place and holding the arms out a bit.
Still researching this part...
