| Tough to sell, but I think I need to. $1500 $1000/no motor. 1968 Bus, original Westfalia. 1600 dual port. Runs and drives. Chrome wheels. No interior, needs some rust repair. Have lower nose patch panel. New window gaskets. Clean title. | |

| Hello, I am new to the site, first post. Can u give me a little more info on the rust condition of your rig. I can see the rust on the front of the bus, what about inside/pan. The typical areas that rust emerges on a bus. Do you know the history of the bus. How long have you had it? Did you remove the interior or did you purchase it that way. Was it an original Westfalia tin top camper? Any info would help. Breck | |

Rust on the lower front. I have a patch panel to replace that. Rear hatch has some small holes. Passenger side floorboard has a 6x4 rust hole. Cargo area has a 1x1 rust hole. Both doglegs are rusty, and minor holes in both front doors. I don't know the history on it. I got it in August 2011, interior was gone already. Original walkthrough Westfalia, not poptop.

| 3 out of 4 of us on the 5am Niello Toy Run had no heaters. Suck it up Dave, you can do it. Ha, ha! I wear a coat, blanket over my legs, and have a tent heater in the cab (if your heater doesn't work). I'd like to see it myself. My Mom's been considering a Bay.

My 67 Westy has no heat and during the spring BOR cruise we all did, Michelle and I were bundled up as we were having that late late cold spell at the time. So we were a bit frosty but managed. Now to find the time to explore the heater. I believe the cables that control the hear back at the heater boxes are disconnected, broken, stuck, something. I don't remember. tj

| It took me two days and a consultant from a deep sea oil drilling rig to clear out the tubes for my heater box cables. There was all kinds of stuff in there... I actually ended up using a piece to stranded steel cable a little smaller in diameter to the tubes. Then I intentionally frayed the end and used it like a roto-rooter. LOTS of WD-40 in the tube. Once they were clean I used some control cable lube I had left over form the quads. | |

| Not having heat is no problem. My true daily driver 70 StreetBug has no heater. I scrape the ice off every morning and go to work. People call me crazy, but it doesn't bother me. So that wouldn't be an issue.
In regards to the Bus, I think the 2007 tag might cause an issue, if caught, then not having insurance would be a big deal as well. Plus who knows if any of the lights work, never tested them.

| Hey David, I was just looking at your 70 drag bug build and saw your picture. I believe that we met at the last bug drags out at sac raceway. I was driving the orange 73 super beetle. We hung out in the pits talking about your old super and your rookie race year. Do I have this correct. Breck | |
