Niello Ranch Run April 15 2012

I'm planning to. I am not drinking though. Even if I go with my wife so she could drive, I dont think I could get up and ready by 5am on Sunday with even one beer in me.

What's going on at UTI? Are we talking about the Natomas campus?

Greg, UTI is doing $20 dyno runs! I bought a dang 3 day pass to take Hugo... Oh well.

Come enjoy coffee and donuts at Bugformance (1620 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento) from 8 am – 10 am. You'll be able to tour the shop, enjoy some delicious morning treats and have special pricing for Ranch Run participants.
The day will continue with an Open House from 10 am – 4 pm at Universal Technical Institute, UTI (4100 Duckhorn Drive, Sacramento). Guests will enjoy lunch, campus tours, live music and more. There will also be $20 dyno runs for cars that pass Tech and the money is donated to Ride to Walk.

The action moves from UTI to Tuna's Buggy Works (1125 Circuit Drive, Roseville) for dinner and continued fun, from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm.

There will be a Saturday evening Ranch Run Round Up at the Boxing Donkey Bar & Grill (300 Lincoln Street, Roseville) with incredible food & drink specials from 7:00 pm on into the night

Anyone going to the Boxing Donkey?

Hubby just checked with a friend and he will cover for him for a couple hours tomorrow. So I will be at the run for a little bit. Mainly going to check out the swap area and if I have time I will check out the show cars. Only part that sucks is he wants to take the PT Cruiser up there. I'm kind of bummed about that, but at least i get to go!

Was pretty nice here yesterday.

Went to the show! We took the PT so parked in the spectator area. It was pretty damp! In fact I was a little nervous about sinking. Went into the show and man was I surprised! It was muuudddyyyy! LOL in a way I'm glad I didn't take the bus! I would have been the one driving and I would have probably got myself stuck! LOL

It was a good turn out as far as show cars! Loved walking around (carefully LOL) looking at the all! I was able to look at some of the westys to see what I needed for mine! So that was helpful!!

As far as the swap meet, I was very disappointed! I heard it was going to be a big one. I heard wrong because their were only about 4 people. Needless to say, I saved money there! LOL

I did get me an event shirt, so I can ad it to my arsenal of tshirts! LOL

Over all it looked like it was a good show! We didn't get to stick around for long though. Next year I hope to attend, just hope it is a bit drier! LOL

Yay! Pile on the bad news. I couldn't make it cuz we had to drive to Oregon for a business meeting. It has killed me that I couldn't make it to the show as it's probably my favorite. I need to hear all of the bad stuff to make me feel better!

great turn out. Greg you for would have sunk at the parking area, as it was hungry for fullsize and your ford is HEAVY. the show was hella cool and big. trust me you missed out. Oh the weather has great

You didn't take many pics? I didn't take any at all! LOL And that's unusual for me. LOL I was just enjoying the little time I had there. Lots of nice looking VW's!!

Cost was 250 to get him out and it was one o5 the band that played at the show

So, did any of the VW's get stuck? It was pretty muddy up on that hill. That and the road leading up to it didn't look to good when we went around the bend. My luck I would have ended up in the pond! LOL

Up top was a pond and someone did get stuck. It took 8 people to get him out
