Greg, is this place's ad free-fees based on page views? If so, there may be a setting to direct back to the sub-forum after posting. Instead, in 2 seconds it takes you back to the topic you just posted to and clicks up another page view, essentially doubling them.
It's a sly little trick they use to make more money.
