Downtown Tuesday Nights - SRV Event - May 17th

This is the Downtown Tuesday Nights in Roseville set for Tuesday Nights May to July 2011

This is a cool car show held in old downtown Roseville. We are making one of these a
SRV Event and set to do so May 17th, 2011. If you can get off work early, this will help.
Official cruise set to meet at Kmart at 2:30pm. Cruise to Roseville by 2:45pm.
If you can not make the cruise, come down as soon as possible. We will try to save you
a spot.

Yeah. This sounds like a blast. Old town Roseville is cool.

IT IS CANCELLED TONIGHT DUE TO THE HIGH WIND AND RAIN WARNINGS.

Downtown Tuesday Nights Cancel

Roseville, CA - May 17, 2011 - Due to the wind forecast during set-up it will not be safe to set-up Tonight. Downtown Tuesday Nights is CANCELLED tonight. We may try and do a make up on August 2nd. Sorry. The good news is that it should be in the 80's next week.


Of coarse we will obviously be upset if the weather turns out to be nice, but since we can tell tell the future we must rely on the forecast. Most forecasts show the worst of todays weather and wind during our set-up. This could cause dangerous conditions with most vendors using tents as their booth displays.

As we have learned, it is the forecast more than the weather that will hurt an events attendance. Meaning if the forecast says sun and it ends up raining a little we still end up having a good event. But if the forecast is Thunderstorms and Lightning but it ends up being nice we end up with a very low attendance event.

We will try and make up the lost event on August 2nd. We do not yet know if that is possible but we will be working on it.

Thank you for understanding that this decision did not come easy. We love having Downtown Tuesday Nights and it is definitely more work to cancel the event this late than it is to have it.
