| Our first cruise and camp is set up for August 27th and 28th, 2011
This can go two ways. For those wanting to just join us for the day, your good. We will meet up at Kmart at 8am and cruise down 49 past Downeville to Sierra City. We will enjoy a lunch together and some site seeing. For those camping, we will go claim our spots and enjoy a evening together sitting around the fire. There are 15 lakes around there all within 20 miles. So fishing, hiking, boating or what ever you like.
For those doing it for the day... eat lunch, stay and play a while and head back. This is a SRV Event, would love to see everyone there!

| I am so on board with this. I love camping. I didn't know you guys were considering this or would have loved chatting about it last night. I don't know one campground from the next up there, but do love the drive. I know that the campgrounds near Tahoe that are by lakes in the late summer are BAD for mosquitos... Rivers are better. | None of the sites look big enough for a 5th wheel, so no rolling support structure.
Which probably means I am out.
I have a descent tent, but nothing else to go with it...

| Has anyone thought about the possibility of a group camp site Cisco Grove or Lake Spaulding? A little closer and able to fit a rig into the site. Not sure what the goal is, but if it is just to hang out and have a good time with friends I would bring the solar powered kegerator. | |

| We could always put a 5th wheel hitch on the 914. Now how to upgrade the brakes.

| ...and you might need to bag the suspension while adding some springs.
I am just sayin'.
But it would fit in the back.

| A no from Michelle and I. No cell phone access, no campy campy. Sucks! We have been itching to camp! Cell access up there is zilch, nada, at least last time we went there. Doubt that has changed.
I am on call 7 days a week and have to be in range to take emergency calls so no plan for us this time around. 8-(
