I was seriously considering driving down there but I got to reading the Samba and everyone was talking about needing to be there really early and make sure you pre-register, etc. Also talking about what a nightmare it was for late comers.

Kind of scared me off. This car show thing give me first timer anxiety. Since I didn't think I knew anyone I chickened out...

I wish I would have had time to go. Maybe next year.

It seems to be back to back with the Ranch Run, so a lot of commitment. It's the Big One and you do need to get there early, but if you're pre-registered (takes 3 minutes on line) and there by 9:00, you're guaranteed in. This show is so big that not long ago in the dot-com days when everyone had a hobby car, they were limiting it to '67 and down because there just wasn't any room. It's tapered down enough that it's open to all air cooled again. Still, the giant parking lot alone is almost just as good of a show.

You couldn't ask for a nicer place to have a show. The grounds are just gorgeous.

I really want to go to it next year.

Yes, currently. It's going in for media blasting next week and then it's going to Dann's for bodywork and paint. Super stoked!!!

By profession I am a Truck Driver. I can paint but I would not call myself a painter.

I work for CPC Logistics witch does the work for Walgreens. Unfortunatly I am at the bottom of the list and supposed to call in everyday to see if I work.
And when I say work I really mean slave.

I had a friend that worked there. He quit. He complained about the same things.
