| Its been a crazy week. Picked up a high reviving Honda Vtec motor to replace the tired motor in the SI. Got a call about a Honda Hatch yesterday.
I found three carburetors at a trip to Kilroys the other day but they were for a newer computer controlled version. I did find car-part .com at the junk yard. I have got to get the Jeep done.
My soon to be 16 year old got her permit, she is driving the 3/4 ton truck. Even that is turbocharged.

| We started removing equipment in preparation for the motor swap. We change everything when a motor is out. This time I ordered a complete motor overhaul gasket set. About the only thing not being used is the head gasket. I will order a water pump today and we should have everything.
Anyone need anything from Autohause.

| That's quite the list Dave. I'm sure it will run very well when you're all done. | |

| You should see what it takes to put an alternator in. You do it right the first time | |

| Yeah I know the routine there. We used to have several Hondas. We had two Honda Preludes and just changing the oil filter was a chore. If you have a pit it's not bad but it's hard to lay underneath it and get any leverage on the filter. I'll have to check these projects out sometime. Did you ever get the oil pressure thing sorted out on the Bug? | |

| He and the brown UPS van do not look much like Santa. Although he is usually jolly or in a good mood. So here is the deal, NEVER GIVE HIM ANYTHING! I am so jealous. He gets SO MUCH free stuff that it makes me sick. "Oh I noticed that riding lawn mower hasn't moved the last few times I delivered." "No, we don't use it, we just want to get rid of it" "Oh, I might know someone who is interested, how much do you want for it?" "Well if you can get it out of here, you can have it". Same conversation with quads, tractors, furniture, etc. So if any of you ever feel generous, ME FIRST! | |

| The V-tec is quite the little bandito. I have a friend with I think a '94 Prelude. The car looks like hell, but is very smooth and fast. He picked it up at an auction for I think $1000. | |

| David, the more I think about it, the more I think maybe it's mot a Prelude. It's small, and the year was a guess on my part. I've only seen the car once. The car seemed a bit small to have that screamer in it, and apparently, I do recall, whatever model it is, it's rare with the V-tec.
I guess it's not important, but thought you might be able to refresh my memory based on that (admittedly crappy) info.

| I have never seen a car that wanted to live. The hatch was hit so hard that it was spun 180. It has been sitting for a year and a half, hooked up the battery hit the key and off we went. Drove it on the trailer. Now it has no front fenders hood, radiator one wheel is going left and the other is headed right. still moves under its own power. All we have to do is talk to out favorite UPS man to find me a shell. Mid 90's hatch
BTW the car is perfect from the windshield back.

| Oh, well, if you asked the UPS guy, he will probably find you two or three by the end of the week. He is good about that and he will help you out. Now if I asked, that is a different story.... | |
