Lots of attitude like Dann... I told Dann it was because Herbie wanted to pass him.

| On the other hand the trip went great. Everything went really smooth and the car ran great on the entire trip around LA. Kyle and I drove it from Anaheim all the way to Bakersfield. I towed him home the rest of the way. It was 103 in the valley. | |

| It's along HWY 99 in Bakersfield.
It's a hoot! Kind of... Kind of not...
I think it would be right up your alley.
Kind of like, "what the heel am I doing here" while at the same time, "yaknow this place is kind of cool."
It's a similar kind of experience as The Big Texan.

| I never saw it. We went 99 but I guess I would have had to have known what I was looking for. | |

| It is actually less mileage to go 99. I go that way in the truck because I cannot do 70 on 5. In the car I try to go 5 if I am in a hurry. | |

| I just go 99 cuz it's less boring. I could care less about the miles.
If there's massive traffic, I'd rather get off of the freeway and drive through town. Even if time wise, it ends up about the same just because I hate sitting there. I'd rather be moving.

| I hear you there. Drive across Nevada if you want boring. From Fernley to Wendover you go through like 5 towns. It sucks. | |

| No No No. I know the most boring drive ever.
I have found BFE, it has a name, its name is Four Corners. We were coming back from Texas on 40 and thought hey let's go up and check out Four Corners. It looked like a quick little side trip on the map, well it is not.
It's like driving through a bad Mad Max movie, but for hours and hours.
Then there is the monument out in the middle of nowhere, and we of coarse stopped and took the traditional picture with an appendage in each state.
Oh and the swap meet where you can buy 'authentic Native American crafts'. I bought an arrow. It's still had the paint on the one end so the hardware store can tell what size it is and how much it costs. I am sure everything else is real though...
There is more to this great journey, but I digress.

I did. Got a damn speeding ticket there. Who could blame me? I wanted to get the f-ck out of Nevada as soon as possible.

| Not only would you need a Delorean, but also the illusive 'flux capacitor'.
You have to go to Denios and look real close to find one of those.

| Oh crap! I have one of those. I forgot all about it. I'll bet I can get the Expedition back to 1955. I'm gonna pick up a '49 split rag and a '54 barndoor samba. I'll drive them for a little while, sell them and retire. | |
