| So im thinking a T4 turbo is to big to run on my 1641cc. But tomorrow im getting... CB performance headers (under deck lid) T4 turbo (not sure if thats intake or exhaust side or both, my GF knows a guy and passed the info to me ) blow off valve, waste gate Weber side draft needs rejetted Basicly everything needed for set-up other than oil lines It was set-up and ran on a 2165cc stroker so turbo will prob not work but im hopeing to use everything else for my rayjay set-up gonna get it for $225 hehe i thought that was the best part

| You will have to change the flange on the header.
T4 style is popular with the Honda and Mitsubishi crowd. I would find another smaller turbo instead of changing the flange on the CB unit. If you toast the turbo a T3/4 will be a whole lot easier to find. RayJays are out of business and have a unique flange
my 2 cents | |

| This set up is a 4 bolt flange please stick with it. You will never regret picking up a T4 and cleaning up the Rayjay and putting it on you desk at work for a paper weight. You will never stop tweaking the system and you have very few option with a RayJay | |

| This system is a draw through due to the side draft.. or some crazy setup | |

| T04 will be too much for your 1641. But for the price, the header, BOV and wastegate are a good deal. |

| But if it never gets into boost whats the fun in it? You can always get small T4's. I was going to pick up a pea shooter a few weeks back(still need to look into that). | |

| "Andy, try locating a Saab 2.3 (Saab 9000) and similar. They have just the right turbo for you. Furthermore look out for Audi 2.2 turbo's (KKK K-26): These are fine turbo's and have the capacity for up to 2 litre AC VW engines. Try to avoid the diesel turbo's: they rarely have the right trim combination and often are not built to withstand as much heat as a petrol/gasoline turbo.
Good luck with your search,
Robin"
"the kkk k26 is for a 1.5-2.2l engine. it will spool fast but it will run hot"
found on internet, maybe the K26 will work

| Looks nice a dry fitment will tell you a plenty. I believe number 1/2 valve cover is the best oil return location | |

| That was a sweet deal! I wouldn't be afraid to set up that K-26. It's in the ballpark. Should work nicely. David is right, try to do your oil return on the 1-2 side. The 3-4 side runs plenty hot without dumping hot return oil into it. You can also dump the return oil through the fuel pump block off plate. Use a minimum 5/8" dia. return line. |

| AN-3 is usually preferred. I like to use a flex hose from a grease gun. It is the right size, and it has 1/8"NPT on both ends, so it is easy to adapt to. You can put a tee fitting on your oil pressure sender unit for the oil supply. |

| Nick you need to get the book or borrow mine. Run a gauge on the turbo until you get it sorted out.
I have run 1/8 once than I went up to 3/16 I will check. The oil out is not under pressure.. So the return is as big as possible 1/2 for as long as you can go.
The push rod tubes are mini oil coolers. The oil will be pretty hot.
