| Ok I got it even though I was told not to I just traded my old alum gas tank for a RaJay Model# 377B25 P# TC-76-99 w/Bendix RJ10039 carb, so what do you think, I had no use for the tank and wanted a turbo so figured why not. Let's make it work, it has no shaft play that I can feel and spins free

| I guarantee my Dad will try to buy/trade you for it! It sounds like you got a good deal. Was it a spun tank or what? | |

| Oh No not a RayJay my heart flutters when ever I hear those words. So you have a summer set up time to make a winter one. You have a great turbo and when I get the time can maybe figure out if it is the right size. I believe all Rayjays have a carbon seals so you can go both ways. Great score...... | |

| It is a water cooled turbo. Do not take it apart it is balanced, and sealed.
Its funny I did a search for the carb and found a posting from the PO. I should be interesting. I will look into it later

| The larger exhausts have a larger 'triangle' bolt pattern.
The 1 7/8 merged header I am putting on May has a larger pattern that looks the same as that one.
What is the distance between centers on the flange. I will measure and compare just for curiosity...

| looks like three inch hole to hole (centers) Can i rotate the intake housing output to make it line up more with the exhaust housing input Like this rayjay turbo set up i found But i almost think it would be better with the exhaust housing on the other side away from the alternator, what you think? | |

| With a draw-thru like you're showing, you are limited to mounting the turbo directly to the manifold. Or something close. With a blow-thru, you can mount the turbo where you want (within reason) and plumb it to your carb. You must mount it above the oil level of the engine so that the turbo will drain its oil back into the motor. Trading a gas tank was a good deal. Throw away the side draft carb and blow it through your Weber. Keep it down around 7 or 8 lbs, and you can have a very streetable car. Here's my setup with an intercooler: [img] [/img] |

| You will need to call CB and get some parts And than you will need one of these A fuel injection fuel pump. Ford Van is popular my set up but dot do it blow through I ran a generator for clearance. You can get a cover for the turbo it a metal blanket.. And you can CLOCK the turbo be real careful the gaskets are fragile. See if you can pick up the book Turbomania Amazon sells it it is good reference book | |

| I have seen that book and will look into cb parts. Why us the fuel pump is important, I'm already running an electric pump, but um guessing it's cause u need more psi for the turbo. Does your set up fit under the deck lid? | |

| Boosting is easy but you have rules. Your fuel pressure have to be x over boost. Normal Fuel pressure is 4 lbs boost is 7 lbs new fuel pressure has to be 11 lbs | |

| Got ya I have read that, does fuel pressure have to increase as boost does? Regular 4 and jump to 11 under boost, basicly boost controlled fuel pressure? Thanks for the help I'm excited

| pretty soon you are going to have to talk to Eric he is the master. My system is different than yours. Now I am going to build one similar to yours if my bug does not sell. I have the header an it should fit under the deck.

| I'm currently building a turbo header out of a 4 into 1 street header and a pair of cannon pipes. I can post some pics if you like. |
