| I got my order a couple weeks ago. Everything I got looks like it has been sitting on a shelf since the 70s (maybe it has), covered in dust, and the boxes are old school colors.
Today I got off early, so I installed the aftermarket Mustache Bar. It worked out well.
The motor is now sitting straight like it should.
I was going to put a header on today as well, but I don't seem to have a spare like I thought I did. Oh well, the Bug exhaust works. | |

| Yes. Just something as simple as finding some needed parts remotivated me. The glass, plus I found a place that sells reproduction lower nose sections. So I ordered that as well. | |

| Had a big day planned today, 11-26. I was going to do a lot to the Bus. Well I need to get the Bus close to the garage/tools. Wouldn't start, but it would run with starting fluid. Ok, fuel pump not pumping, take it off, it works pumping it by hand. Hmm, pull the fuel pump push rod..... .....obvious problem. The phenolic pedestal was split also. The theory is the pedestal split, the push rod slipped over, and was pinched in there, bending it.. Not having the parts to fix it, out came the 100ft extension cord. | |

| First task was installing the side mirrors. I bought these months ago from the same place I got the mustache bar, where everything is brand new, but appears as though it has been sitting for 30 years. Anyway the mirrors look the same, but different brand, same part number. I went with the flag style mirrors, which I really like, I know some people wont like the way it looks, but I do, and it's my Bus, so... | |

| Then I installed my Pick-n-Pull antenna. | |

| Wow, it is really looking good. I love those mirrors! That is what I would have probably gone with if mine weren't already intact. I wonder if that bus an PnP has the fuel pump parts you need? I know it had a lot of the other motor parts still in it. Might be worth digging around in it. | |

| I love that your rockin' the vintage Jack on the antennae. Hope nobody steals it, it's a classic.
Bus is looking good!

| Yesterday I replaced the fuel pump push rod and pedestal, and put in a new throttle cable. Took a quick drive around the back 40. Took a video, but it didn't come out well. | |
