Dearest members this is such a good time you have no idea. We all love cars and the only one we will ever crack on is Spencer's space ship pointing to the moon. Come out you will learn so much in one short day I promise.

You know if you put the number '1' (which is appropriate) in front of the number '4' in Type 4 you get the number '14'
Huh, Type 14 from the number 1 and the number 4.
Interesting...
Thank you, todays post has been brought to you by the letters 'V' , 'W' and the number '14'.

Valves first guys... adjust the valves cold... .006 intake and exhaust. Then timing... 29 or 30 degrees at 2500 to 3000 rpm for the 009 distributor.
Then the carb... with the car running.. turn the screw in slowly.. if it is not dieing, then you have a vacuum leak somewhere. If it starts to die, then back it out till it revs the highest point and turn it back in about 1/8 or 1/4..
Idling problems can be the idle circuit.. needs to be cleaned out.. the smallest debris and clog it. Dip in carb cleaner and blow out.
Also don't forget the float level.. if it is to high, it will flood out the carb on hills or hard stops.
Damn work.. wish I could get down there to help. But by the time I get off and was to drive down.. it would be dark.
Hope the above helps

Yep, did the valves in feb. when I bought the motor. Im pretty sure its just the carb idle speed as I need to tap the throttle to keep it alive when in neutral. Thanks for the help!!!
