| So today while doing something for work, I decided to take the long way back (not in any real hurry to get back to work....if ya know what I mean). So I drive past this tow yard/impound yard and the see the roofs of several bugs through the open front gate. I stop and I see someone walking around and I ask him if anything is for sale and he says that yes, they are in fact for sale. They are all lined up waiting to be crushed so he'll take scrap metal prices for them. Now, mind you, none of them have titles but he did say he would give you the paperwork that you would need. A couple of them are a bit rough but a couple of them looked buildable. They are all Fat-chicks! He also had 2 Fastbacks (also fat-chicks). 1 of which was very nice and very complete from what I saw. I was going through there pretty quickly as I wasn't supposed to be stomping in mud looking at old cars.
He wants $150 ea for the rougher/not so complete cars and $200 ea for the nicer cars. The green Fastback is definately worth that!! Save these things from becoming your next Pepsi can!!
I'm going on Saturday to take a better look at a non-VW car I'm interested in. Let me know if anyone needs more info.

| I guess that would have to be a late model bus!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! "Fat bottom girls you make the rockin' world go round" I guess Kay ('73 Ghia) is related to the Kardashians. I am not sure about May, I know bugs went J Lo after '67, but what year did Ghia's tip the scales? 1970? When the tail lights went BOOM?!?!?!?! | |

So the only way you're interested is by me giving you the guy's phone number and address? That doesn't make much sense. You haven't even asked for the email with the pics.

Why don"t you just post the pic on here. It would be easier for everyone including yourself. Posting 50 pictures on here would be easier for who? I already said....all anyone has to do is email me. I then can forward the email with the 50 pictures. That, to me, is easier for both parties.

| IM JUST CONFUSED/FRUSTRATED ON WHY WE CANT GET A YARD NAME OR ADDRESS SO IF WE WERE INTERESTED WE COULD GO CHECK THESE CARS OUT ON OUR OWN SCHEDULE.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT TO HAVE GONE DOWN TO LOOK ON THAT THURSDAY NIGHT SEEING THAT I HAD MY TRAILER ALL HOOKED UP AND EVERYTHING. EVEN FRIDAY OR MONDAY AFTERNOON (CUZ IM IN SAC MON. MORNINGS) WOULD HAVE BEEN OK. WE HAD A MAKE-UP TECH DAY SATURDAY SO FOLKS COULD GET READY FOR THE RANCH RUN THIS COMING WEEKEND. THE NEXT CHANCE I, COULD POSSIBLY GET DOWN THAT WAY WOULD BE NEXT MONDAY AFTERNOON THEN MAYBE SUNDAY THE 17TH. SO WHEN YOU POSTED IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT TIME FOR ME. NOT SURE IF ANYONE ELSE MAY HAVE BEEN INTERESTED.
