- Well.. nothing has been said about it being only aircooled, and as you can see... no watercooled in the club yet.. So, don't think it is to big a whoop up here. Now for the Sacto area, might want to do those with aircooled only. There is a bunch more rocket racers down there than up here.
I am good for a Sunday if that works better for a meeting of the minds. Let's see... this weekend is shot to hell. Next weekend we have the tech day/show.. but maybe that Sunday afternoon would work????

I am Bi VW and go both ways. hehehehe. Own mostly aircooled but do sport the New Beetle TDI for awesome fuel mileage commuter. If it says VW, I like them. I guess the New Beetle at least comes from an aircooled heritage and all. Maybe other modern VWs like a Passat would not be a good fit. tj

| You will find there are different types of owners... an aircooled owner will be the same way with whatever car he owns.. so yes, Landon - TJ (and others).. you love your VW and that is all there is. Then you have the other group that buys a car for 'whatever' reason.. if it is a rice racer, he just is looking for something to dump money in a think they are cool.. does not matter if it is a VW or Honda. Might have picked the VW because they thought it looked "cool".. but the passion is not there.
That is why I don't worry to much about it. Most rice racers want to be around other rice racers.. not a bunch of really COOL old dudes cruisin' at 55 down the freeway. Once the air cooled bug bites.. your hooked. You might take breaks, but you will be bake.
Yeah.. Sunday the 22nd sounds good Greg. If that works for everyone I will send out the email and hope to get some participation

| What about if we went with "Capitol City V Dubs" and where you have your "California 49" road sign in the center of your picture, we had a green outline of the state of California with a star locating Sacramento? Let me know if you don't understand what I'm saying. I thought it would just be cool if the two groups pictures were more uniform. | |

| I would stay away from "captial city".. there was a club called capital city classics back around mid 90's.. I was part of them back then. Don't want any confusion.
If you can get me a jpeg of the map and star..I will throw it in and see what it looks like. I don't have a good drawing program.. this is more of a picture program that I am using.

| If we're going to stick with "Sac Town V Dubs", I don't really think there is any reason for the state of California on there. I was just trying to think of some different names. I was trying to avoid the abbreviation for the name. STVD could translate to: S exually T ransmitted V enerial D iseases | |
