Hey all I just got a 1969 type 3 fastback. It has already been converted to early style carbs. I cant seem to get them dialed in so the car will idle properly. Anyone with some insight on the ol pancake engines would be great.

are you using a syncro to dial the carbs in? each carb will be slightly different with adjustment, so you need to use a syncro tool to get them exact. The other thing is to double check that there are no vacuum leaks. I find with dual carbs, tighten up the nuts every now and then. Maybe even put in new copper rings for a fresh seal.
