| Got the new (used) axle in. Took pics, left the camera in the car. Oh well, I'll post pics later. It broke the CV joint at the transmission, and the outer one was busted too, but I think that happened when we towed it off the track and to the pits. | |

| Its been a while since I updated, so... Put the new axles in. Put fiberglass rear fenders on it. Also had to put a taillighight on to be race legal. Put new drag tires on it, along with the Rivieras that were on the Super. And removed the front bumper and straightned out the apron. | |

| In the NASA Points series, I ended up finishing in 2nd place. Last year I won the championship. I'm pretty happy about it all. | |

| Went racing last night, ran a new best time of 15.70, and won in the Pro class. | |

| Nice job on the Bug! I like your roll bar set up and I was wondering where did you get the metal door panels? They are just what I want to do on mine. I am also looking for a metal head liner (2 piece so I can get it in) |

| I put a Compu-Fire ignition in it today, and took it to the track. Made 8 runs,
15.54, 15.59, 15.58, 15.54, 15.54, 15.61, 15.52, 15.57. Very Consistant. All were better than my previous best of 15.70.
I am really happy witht he way the car is performing, and I do think the Compu-Fire is definitly worth the money, the car starts, and runs much better now than it did with points. | |

| I agree with your assesment of the Compu-Fire. What distro are you running? Vacuum advance? | |

| I bought a Flip camcorder the other day. Then I fabricated a couple different rollbar mounts for it. Taking it and the car to the track tomorrow for some videos and hopefully a trophy. | |
