| So now I have another tranny being built. Basically all the internals from this one are being transfered to another case.
I'm also going to go with a mid-mount this time around.

| There you go. You know...if you didn't hot rod it so much and you wouldn't keep breaking things. | |

| Just busted ass getting the car back together.
I had a gussetted aluminum Rhino transmission built by Chad Bryan of Immense Performance. He made some changes to my gear ratios, should pick up some speed top end.
Picked it up tonight at 8 pm. Got back home at around 9:15, got started on the project. I had to weld in a mid-mount for the transmission as well. Got the transmission in by 10:40, and the longblock in by 11:30. Had to do some midnight clearancing on the apron so the exhaust would clear. Had it running by 1:40, cleaned up shop. Now it's 2:28 and I'm headed for bed. Will wake up at 7 (latest), load the car, head to the track and be ready to race.

| In the car. Note the mid-mount, and Sway-A-Way axles. | |

| All together, this was about 1:30am. I also upgraded to Earls Super Stock fuel line. I torqued the traction bar to the max, so I had to clearance the apron to clear the exhaust. | |

| I like that mid-mount setup. That ought to hold things together! |

| Today at the track I ran a best of 15.38 at 83.5. I made it to the final round in NASA (VW class), before losing. I picked up $20 jackpot cash, a trophy, $50 gift certificate for Jansen Enterprises, Best First Round Package award ($25), and Bounty Hunter award ($50), for beating the previous race winner. Staging lanes. First Round Eliminations. Winner and Runner-Up | |

| What nuts are you running on your intake manifold? Someplace we got some that take an 11mm wrench. It makes life a whole lot better.
Look great

| Let me know when you want to try a set of 44 Idf. We should do some test and tune. I have a set of Dellorto's 40 Weber 40 and Weber 44. I can dial them in on my 1915 and meet you at the track.
We could always do a club field trip.....

| Had a pretty decent night, ended up losing in the Semi-Finals. Car ran great even with the muffler on. (They told me it was too loud open stinger).
Kind of a burly night at the track, 3 oil downs and 1 wreck.
